Here at My Sister Knits, we love every knitted object as if it were our own. One of our favorites, however, is the traditional knitted sock.
Socks are among the knitted icons. They are a testament to our dedication to the craft: we love them because they can be easy or twisty, striped or fair isled, tall or short, and knit for men, women and children alike. Everyone needs socks, and they feel like a hug for our feet.
Thanks to Roselyn Cutler, you can become a sock addict, too! Rosalyn’s class, “Anatomy of a Sock,” will teach you each part of a sock and how they are constructed together. She’ll teach you how to make adjustments for the perfect fit, and then you can wrap your family’s feet in as many hugs as you please!
This class is four sessions, beginning on Thursday July 21, then going into August 4, 18, and 25 (each from 6pm – 7:30pm). Call the shop to sign up today! WARNING: Sock yarn may be addictive. Knit with caution (and love every stitch)!
