Party in Pictures!

MSK 6th Anniversary Party Peeps

Thanks so much to all of you who ventured out on Saturday for the anniversary open house. The energy and excitement was amazing!

MSK 6th Anniversary Party Goodies

Thanks also to everyone who baked goodies to share. We all enjoyed them, though I think patient husbands and kids the most! The coffee cart was wonderful as well. My Cocoa Krispy drink was a wonderful mid-morning pick-me-up – thanks for bringing that in Julie!

Classic Elite Magnolia Trunk Show Classic Elite Magnolia Trunk Show

It was wonderful to see the trunk show for Classic Elite’s new pattern book for the new yarn, Magnolia! While I was there a significant dent was made in the yarn on the shelves. I know I came home and queued a few pieces from the booklet.

Danger Crafts Trunk Show

The Danger Crafts trunk show was fun too. I love the imagination that goes into these creative creatures and can only begin to imagine the variations one could make.

Cloud Chaser by Amy Swenson St. Denis' Sam Doll

A few other projects on display also caught my eye. Above left is the Cloud Chaser vest by Amy Swenson, knit here out of Blue Sky Alpaca. Cloisonne Jacket

Then one of Julie’s speedy knitters already churned out a gorgeous Cloisonne Jacket from the Fall 2010 issue of Interweave Knits. This one was knit in Madelinetosh Light.

If you missed out on the fun on Saturday, come in soon to check out those two trunk shows before they move on!
